evolvit strengthens its marketing offering through the acquisition of Digitrooper
evolvit continues to broaden its offering with the acquisition of Digitrooper, a marketing agency based in Norrtälje, Sweden. The acquisition brings marketing closer to evolvit’s existing expertise in areas such as IT, business systems, integrations, web development and e-commerce.
Anna Nöjd and Tommy Kårlin founded Digitrooper in 2019. Today, the agency has seven employees and works across the entire marketing process, from strategy and planning to content, digital marketing and the ongoing development of its clients’ businesses.

For evolvit, the acquisition is a natural next step in a journey that has been underway for several years. In 2023, evolvit acquired the web agency Knockout, strengthening its expertise in web development and e-commerce. The company is now taking the next step. With Digitrooper, evolvit also gains strategic marketing expertise that complements its existing technology and business offering.
Over the past several years, we have built broad expertise across the digital business, from web and e-commerce to integrations, business systems and IT. With Digitrooper, we are also adding strategic marketing expertise that complements our technical delivery and helps customers develop their offering and reach the right target audiences. This means we can take greater responsibility for the entire journey, from go-to-market and marketing to the digital solutions and systems behind it. That is where we see that one plus one really can equal three.
– Peter Willbo, CEO of evolvit.
An already well-established partnership
evolvit and Digitrooper have worked together for several years. Among other things, Digitrooper has been responsible for evolvit’s brand concept and marketing. As a result, the two companies already know each other’s businesses, expertise and ways of working well.
The acquisition will allow the two organisations to work even more closely together and support customers across more parts of their digital business. For example, evolvit will be able to connect positioning, offering and marketing with web development, e-commerce, integrations, systems and the underlying technical infrastructure.
We are taking this step from a position of strength, with the aim of continuing to develop and staying ahead in an industry that is changing rapidly. Marketing is becoming increasingly technology-driven, and we do not believe the future is about choosing between creativity and technology, but about combining the two. As part of evolvit, we gain both the expertise and capacity to support our customers further along their journey and take on larger assignments, without losing the close relationships and flexibility that are such an important part of Digitrooper.
– Anna Nöjd and Tommy Kårlin, founders of Digitrooper.
Digitrooper will continue under its own name
Digitrooper will continue to operate under its own name, with the same project teams, culture and customer focus as before. At the same time, the agency will gain access to a broader range of expertise and a larger organisation through evolvit.
Founders Anna Nöjd and Tommy Kårlin will also remain with the business, although in partly new roles. Tommy Kårlin will take over as Head of Digitrooper, with responsibility for managing the agency and driving its continued development.
At the same time, Anna Nöjd will become Head of Marketing at evolvit, where she will be responsible for developing evolvit’s marketing activities. She will also continue in her role as Head of Sales at Digitrooper, focusing on customers, new business and the agency’s continued development.
This will allow Digitrooper to retain the continuity, customer relationships and culture that have shaped the agency, while the new organisation creates further opportunities to develop both the offering and its customers’ businesses.
