Who is Christoffer?

Christoffer Jonsson describes himself as attentive and kind, but also as highly competitive. He has a strong inner drive and is constantly motivated by the desire to become more efficient and do things a little better every day. This mindset shapes both the way he works and how he leads others. It’s not about perfection—it’s about continuous improvement and bringing a sense of calm, even when the pace is high.

I have a love-hate relationship with constantly stepping outside my comfort zone. It’s uncomfortable, but I know that’s where I grow.

Outside of work, family is his greatest source of energy. Watching his son grow up, spending time with loved ones, exercising, and spending hours in the kitchen are all important parts of his life. For Christoffer, it’s about connection and quality time—the simple things that make everyday life truly meaningful. Cooking is more than an interest; it’s a craft he enjoys immersing himself in. Another, perhaps more unexpected passion is fragrances, where details and balance are just as important.

According to Christoffer, a really good day starts early. Jazz playing through the speakers, a cortado in hand, and a slow morning followed by a hearty breakfast. If there’s also time for family and some form of exercise, the foundation is set. Once he’s had that kind of start, he knows the rest of the day will be a good one.

How Did You End Up at evolvit?

Christoffer’s journey at evolvit began in 2017. He started in support during a time when roles were broader and both delivery and support were handled by the same team. The decision to join evolvit was simple from the beginning—it was because of Peter Willbo. It came down to trust and the feeling that this was a place where you could build something long-term. Quite early on, however, Christoffer developed an interest in something beyond technology: the people behind it.

I’ve always been interested in the human side of things—helping people grow and collaborate in the best possible way.

His drive to help individuals develop, collaborate more effectively, and reach their full potential gradually led him to take on more responsibility for people management. When the merger between the former Dialect Skövde and Stockholm offices took place, the next step felt natural: becoming Head of Technology.

How Have You Developed at evolvit, and What Are You Most Proud Of?

The greatest development has been personal. Christoffer has gone from being afraid of making mistakes and caring deeply about what others thought, to actively seeking lessons in failure. What makes that growth possible is a sense of security—the understanding that it’s okay to try, fail, and come back stronger. He also describes how he has learned to distinguish between what truly matters and what is just noise, and to listen to the right people.

I’ve gone from being terrified of making mistakes to actively striving to make them—and turning them into lessons.

The best part of working at evolvit is the colleagues. And with a smile, he admits there is an extra sense of pride and affection for his own team. What he takes pride in has also changed over time. Previously, it was about the technical craft—delivering elegant and effective solutions that created immediate value for customers. Today, it looks different. Now, Christoffer feels most proud when he sees his team doing exactly that. Watching them grow, deliver, and succeed together surpasses everything else.

One thing that surprised Christoffer was realizing that leadership is more of an art form than a checklist. He initially thought it would be about frameworks and specific ways of acting. Now he understands that the most important task is finding the balance between being clear and driving progress while also being attentive and human. He describes it as a constant learning process to find his own way of leading this particular team.

Did You Know…?

Christoffer has played the saxophone for seven years. Mastering an instrument is about more than hitting the right notes—it requires timing, discipline, and countless hours of practice. At evolvit, it’s obvious who we turn to when we need someone who can keep projects in rhythm and deliver with precision. Whether it’s music or business solutions, success comes down to focus, structure, and perfect timing.

What Does evolvit Mean to You?

Christoffer describes the culture at evolvit with three words: honesty, care, and transparency. There are clear expectations here, but also strong support. If you seize the opportunity, the possibilities for growth are enormous.

Customers notice this through our commitment to always delivering something unique—something tailored specifically for them. Not standard solutions, but carefully considered, long-term solutions that stand the test of time. For employees, it’s about finding the right people, investing time in them, and building a secure foundation where they feel comfortable being challenged, believe in long-term development, and choose to stay for many years.

What both customers and employees have in common is the long-term perspective. evolvit is not chasing quick wins—it is building relationships that last through both good times and difficult ones.

We’re not looking for quick wins—we’re building relationships that last when things get tough. We want to be seen as the colleagues a little further down the hallway.

How Do You Work at evolvit?

Collaboration is highly visible in everyday work, especially when complex challenges arise. There is no expectation that one person should have all the answers. Instead, the team comes together, the right expertise is involved, and discussions take place without prestige—both internally and alongside the customer.

The softer values are central. Through clear principles, genuine care, and alignment within the team, evolvit has built a way of working that naturally extends into customer relationships. It can be about everything from how feedback is given, to asking for help early, to identifying obstacles before they grow. That is where the real value is created.

The phrase “here, both people and systems grow” is deeply rooted in Christoffer’s view of both leadership and technology. Systems are never better than the people who manage them. That’s why evolvit doesn’t build quick fixes or create roles simply to fill a seat.

We never see technology as an end in itself. A system will never be better than the people who manage it.

When people grow, technology follows. And perhaps it is precisely there—in the balance between development, security, and the courage to step outside your comfort zone—that Christoffer’s role at evolvit truly shines.
