Who is Leopold?

Leopold Wahlström is someone who thrives in motion. He describes himself as outgoing, cheerful, and engaged, but he is also clearly driven by making things work, flow smoothly, and get done. Efficiency is not just a strength in his work—it is part of his personality. He enjoys a fast-paced everyday life with structure and a clear sense of direction. At the same time, there is a strong human side to him, where relationships and conversations take center stage. He is easy to talk to, communicates clearly, and has an energy that spreads to both colleagues and customers.

Outside of work, much of his life revolves around the things that create balance. Time with his partner and their dog is important and helps him recharge, often combined with good food. More recently, running has also become a hobby for Leopold—something he says has contributed to both better routines and improved well-being.

I discovered running fairly recently, and it has genuinely helped me feel better and establish new routines.

A really good day doesn’t have to be dramatic. For Leopold, it’s about positive conversations, meaningful meetings, and ending the day at home with a good dinner. Simple things, when they work.

How Did You End Up at evolvit?

Leopold’s journey at evolvit began back in 2014, when the company operated under the name “Dialect.” As a customer center sales representative in Täby, he took his first steps within the organization, driven by curiosity and a genuine interest in technology.

It was primarily my curiosity and interest in technology that led me here.

Since then, a lot has changed. The company has grown rapidly, roles have evolved, and new business areas have been added. For Leopold, this has meant being able to grow alongside the company rather than having to change environments to take the next step in his career.

That perspective also shapes how he views professional development today: growth happens best when you are given time, trust, and the right environment to develop.

How Have You Developed at evolvit, and What Are You Most Proud Of?

When Leopold looks back on his time at evolvit, it is his personal journey that he is most proud of—a journey where he has grown significantly, both as a person and in his professional role. He especially highlights the freedom to try different roles and challenges, as well as the trust he has received from both managers and colleagues.

I’ve been given the freedom to grow and try different things, and that has meant a great deal to me. After twelve years, I’m incredibly grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given and the trust that’s been placed in me.

Leopold also says there is no predefined template for what a career at evolvit should look like—and that is exactly what creates engagement. It is also what he believes is best about evolvit: the opportunities for development are enormous. No one stands in the way of your desire to learn more or take the next step. If you want to move forward, the support is there.

At the same time, colleagues play a major role, both locally and across the country. They contribute perspectives, knowledge, and relationships that stand the test of time.

How Do You Work at evolvit?

In everyday work, collaboration is most visible in the handovers between teams and departments. Leopold describes how teams take the time to listen to one another, provide feedback, and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. Dialogue, communication, and accountability create a sense of security—both internally and for customers.

I see collaboration every day in the handovers between departments. I always feel confident when I hand something over to another team.

Value is created by listening, taking the time to understand, and genuinely caring about both colleagues and the situations customers are facing. At the same time, there is a lighthearted atmosphere in everyday work. People work hard, but they also enjoy themselves together.
