Who is Michael?
Michael Burlin describes himself as open, cheerful, social, and curious—something you quickly notice when you meet him. I get really happy when I find a solution to a problem—especially complex ones that the customer didn’t think could be solved.
Outside of work, his creativity takes other forms. Music, training, gaming, and time with family are important parts of his life. A truly great day, both at work and in his personal life, includes meaningful meetings, strong conversations, and something memorable. It could be a successful presentation, a well-thought-out solution proposal, or time spent with people who bring positive energy.
How did you end up at evolvit?
Michael’s journey at evolvit began back in 2016—without prior experience in the industry, but with a clear desire for change. After a period at a workplace where he didn’t feel comfortable, he realized it was time to take the next step in his career.
At the same time, Marcus Wallgren at evolvit was looking for a new salesperson for his team, and Michael took a chance and reached out directly. The timing couldn’t have been better. At the time, evolvit operated under a different brand, but from the very beginning there was a clear culture of development, education, and opportunities to grow.
It was written in the stars. I needed a job—but it turned out to be so much more than that.
Since then, both his role and the company have evolved. Michael highlights the amount of knowledge and training he has gained along the way, and how he has had the opportunity to grow alongside new solutions, systems, and customer needs.
How have you developed at evolvit, and what are you most proud of?
His development has been both broad and deep—from sales to a strong understanding of how different systems and solutions can be combined and tailored for very different businesses. Regardless of industry or need, the work is about seeing the bigger picture and creating real value.
There isn’t a single project that stands out. Instead, Michael finds joy in the variety at evolvit. Every time the team manages to find a customer-specific solution—regardless of size or complexity—it creates a sense of pride.
No meeting, solution, or challenge is ever the same. My job never looks the same from one day to the next, and that’s the charm and joy of going to work every day!
