Who is Selma?
Selma Sahman Alagic is someone who brings energy, warmth, and a natural smile into every interaction. She describes herself as energetic, playful, and someone who is quick to laugh—and that’s exactly the impression you get when speaking with her. For Selma, laughter is not just a personality trait, but a way of approaching both people and everyday life.
She believes that a smile can make a big difference. In conversations with customers, in collaboration with colleagues, and in her daily work at evolvit, she contributes a positive tone that truly spreads.
It may sound like a cliché, but I feel that life becomes more enjoyable and easier if we live it with a laugh or a smile. Try it—I promise it works!
A daily life filled with support, laughter, and relationships
At evolvit, Selma works as a support technician, where she helps customers move forward in their cases every day. The role involves both technical problem-solving and a great deal of human interaction—a combination that suits her perfectly. Helping, explaining, and creating a sense of security in conversations is a strong driving force for her.
A truly good day, both at work and in her personal life, includes laughter and presence. At work, it’s about meeting customers and the feeling of having made a difference. At home, it’s the simple moments that matter most—such as a calm morning with her children, a cozy movie night on the couch, or spending time together without stress or obligations.
A varied everyday life at evolvit
Selma has been part of evolvit for nearly two years. During that time, she has worked in support, but her role has also expanded to include responsibility for inbound and outbound deliveries within the back office in Skövde.
For me, a really good day at work is filled with lots of laughter and the opportunity to help customers with their issues.
It’s a role that requires structure, attention to detail, and flexibility. It combines technology, logistics, and service—something that suits Selma well and provides a varied workday where no two days are the same.
How have you developed at evolvit, and what are you most proud of?
Her development has been clear—both technically and personally. Through her work in support, Selma encounters a wide variety of cases every day, which builds broad technical knowledge but, above all, a deeper understanding of customers’ everyday realities.
But it’s not just the systems that develop her. The human interactions are just as important. Conversations with customers, collaboration with colleagues, and daily exchanges have shaped both her professional role and her as a person.
Meetings with customers and colleagues mean a lot to me. I often carry those conversations with me, and they definitely help shape me—both in my professional role and as a person.
Selma feels that it’s the whole experience that makes working at evolvit so rewarding. The variation in cases, the customer interactions, and the relationships built along the way create a workday that both develops and engages. For her, it means more than individual tasks—it’s the context and the people that make all the difference.
Something you might not know about Selma…
When Selma gets to choose, she enjoys calm and creative moments. Books, crafts, and interior design give her space to create balance, recovery, and new energy.
What does evolvit mean to you?
Selma describes the culture at evolvit in three words: family-like, teamwork, and “always forward.” For her, these are not just words—they define everyday life. People see each other. They listen. They help.
It doesn’t matter which team you belong to or where you sit—the feeling is the same: warmth, community, and a willingness to support one another. Laughter is a natural part of the workday, as is the ambition to grow together.
Selma believes what sets evolvit apart from other workplaces is this combination of a family-like atmosphere and forward momentum. There is a clear direction—but also humility in how the journey is made, together.
We always want to move forward—and we do it together as one big team.
